On a more positive note, a gay friend of mine who came out last September sent me a text in the wee hours of the morning to tell me he officially has his first boyfriend. I'm so happy for him. He had a really rough time coming out and he deserves this bit of happiness.

I lost contact with all my gay friends from back in the day but when I heard our very own Lycan was married and happy, I'll admit that made me super happy for a while before I serioused again

I hope they all also found happiness along the way .... everyone deserves it.
