Default Anyone know of locally obtainable Bluetooth adapter that can be used to emulate Wii controller on PC

Basically as title says. I have the Wii remote, want to use it with PC, but I could never figure out what Bluetooth adapter would work.

Bluetooth is Bluetooth you probably going to need a program to do the emulation.
Check out a Program called "GlovePIE"

I am afraid I can't be of more help since I read about this while looking for Ps3 controller Emulator and remember someone mentioning it on a forum.

Yip as mentioned above your pc should pick it up with bluetooth, im just not sure how you would tell the remote to make itself "visable"

press 1 and 2 on the remote while searching for bluetooth devices in windows, should pick up as rvl 101 or something like that, and only certain bluetooth adapters are compatible btw.

That's kinda my current problem, don't know which ones are compatible and obtainable in south Africa.

I have this cannon class 1 bluetooth adapter that doesn't pick it up. (Very old and one of the first). Not even with BlueSoleil.

Saw this small bluetooth dongle/adapter for like R70 in shops like MAtrix but I have no idea if it'll work or not.

O sorry didn't realize you want the bluetooth dongle route... If i were you i would go into Matrix with the Control and ask them to test it for you... they are usually quite accommodating...

These ones are the most compatible

if you want to play wii games rather get a real wii they're going for like R450 to R500 and you wont have compatibility issues, controller lag issues etc. dolphin is good but definately not as good as a real wii. one of the best consoles i currently own

I was kinda thinking more on the lines of Strike Vector.
That game is practically designed (by accident) for a wii remote.

    What's it's name btw?
