Am i strange that i cant handle any icons on my desktop? There is nothing worse than a cluttered desktop to me... Im extremely happy with the Windows 8 "app" set up...

With regards to social media, im only on facebook so im not to bothered...

Amen! My desktop is pretty much empty. I launch all of my games by right-clicking on the Xfire icon in my taskbar and can access pictures and everything by clicking on the Start button and then the appropriate folder. It's far more organised than folders littering the desktop :P
