Price will eventually drop. Then everybody will buy it.

I couldn't agree more, its a bit early to call at this stage, positive comments make me wanna go out and buy the game as well

I just hope that the user base will grow and be sustainable for the next couple of years.

I can almost guarantee to you that this game is going to explode in SA, its a new way of doing things and people don't take well to change but it does work.

Read my mini review here, it may give you a better idea.

I have no doubt that it works on occasion. But the questions still remains: Is it better than dedicated servers? And no "review" I have read thus far tells me that, yes, it is better than dedicated servers.

It is not better than dedicated servers no, but I don't think anyone really thought it would be. Quite simply, dedicated servers offer lower latencies, higher player capacity, and better availability.

However, it looks as though the MP is not a lost cause, with many local gamers reporting a positive experience.

Only local bandwidth, no, as you would have to connect to Steam and IW.net which are hosted internationally.

A route sentry setup could work though.
