Evo 840 is a beast of a SSD, I was going to get one myself but decided to rather get a larger albeit slightly slower one.

Yeah, I'd say that would be the best course of action.

Nice large storage to start off with, then later worry about SSD performance.

Are you going with speaker system or headset?

Also what are you looking at with regards to keyboard and mouse setup?

I was thinking of getting that SteelSeries Heat bundle, which includes the Sensei (RAW) Mouse, Qck Mouse Pad and Siberia V2 headset for R1700 from Kalahari. What's the difference between the normal Sensei and the RAW?

For the keyboard, I'm feeling that a Razer Blackwidow will do the trick, or the SteelSeries G6v2 to stick with the SteelSeries theme.

I would avoid the 750Ti, its a card meant for a low powered system.

    I would look at this

    Club 3D R9-270X, RoyalQueen Edition

There are 2 of them in stock so no waiting for anything.
Overclocked out of the box, not a bad looking card, well within the budget and soooooo much better than a 750ti.

Differences between a normal Sensei and the RAW version.
I'm also deciding if I should go for a Sensei RAW since my gaming mouse is now on its last legs.

There are hardware differences between them as Gokuo mentioned, in the end the Sensei is the better mouse but doesn't offer a huge amount of difference over the RAW. I own a RAW, it's pretty good value for money, in the same league as the Logitech G500, but cheaper.

Keyboard-wise the 6GV2 is a good option. I opted for Cooler Master's Quickfire Pro instead for the brown switches and backlighting and when I bought it the price was a bit cheaper as well.

My one's held up pretty well for the past nine months and I've had no issues with it or the software (apart from Windows 8.1 stuffing things up with the drivers for a few weeks).

I have the powercolor R9 270 and wow! what a card! and at R2299 from wootware... well... I was beyond pleasantly suprised.
