Blazzok, I'm going to start on Sunday. Will most likely only play over weekends. Really looking forward to it!
I went through the whole thread and watched the Beginners video that BeoTeK posted.
I can't wait to start! I've got this Dark Souls craving. But I have to finish Child of Light first tomorrow morning and then tomorrow afternoon I have to go to a baby shower in Vaal Park of all places. I didn't even know men go to these kind of things. But my wife says it's mandatory.
So Sunday it is. Or maybe Saturday evening if I'm lucky.
I'll be ending up at work again this weekend, so not sure how much time I'll get to start DS2.
It's up to the baby shower organizers if men can come or not, usually it isn't mandatory though. Good luck, they can be quite boring sometimes - hopefully there is booze and a braai for the men. If that is the case, then usually the men have to bring a pack of nappies as a entrance fee.
Man it feels great playing a Dark Souls game again. I can't believe how smooth this one feels compared to the previous one. Also it looks much greater than I thought it would.
In the beginning I got my ass kicked by that hippo and I should probably have left it for a bit later. But as I progressed I got better and I killed the first boss. Lots of fun. I love how you explore every nook and cranny. Making sure you don't miss anything.
It does, doesn't it. I got a little bit of time today; haven't gotten to the first boss yet. I got up to the second bonfire in the forest and killed the two turtle bastards down below. There was something spitting fire at me in a cave, so I noped out of there.
So now I have to figure out which way to go, I have up from the bonfire, or down the ladder.
I also got my ass handed to me by the hippo/troll thing, and I knew it would, but I fought it anyway![]()
