Oh how I wish I had R5k to waste... just for once I'd like to buy a new high end card.
Instead I just go second hand mid range...

I was due an upgrade and recently bought the Asus R9 290X DirectCU II OC for around 5,300 SEK (around R9,000). I see the same model (R9290X-DC2OC-4GD5) is going on Takealot for R9,999. Yeouch!

5,300 SEK gets you about as far in Sweden as R5,300 does in ZA. Just saying. Hence the "yeouch!"

Lol, its mid range these days. R9 290X, 780TI, Titan, all close on 10k... Console graphics just can't compete.

Expensive considering you can get a MSI Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384bit GDDR5 Overclocked for around R5200, but that's only if you can find stock
