New Child of Light co-op trailer and developer diary emerge



Child of Light, the Japanese-style RPG from the creator of Far Cry 3, has a unique co-operative mode that allows a second player to take control of an orb named Igniculus who aids Aurora, the protagonist of the title, through her journey by distracting enemies in combat, finding items in unreachable places, lighting dark paths and opening up new passageways. Their teamwork is highlighted in a new trailer from Ubisoft:



Moreover, Ubisoft have also released the first developer diary for the title discussing basic story details as well as the beautiful artwork behind Child of Light. The developers discuss the process behind converting art into graphics using the Ubiart framework, which was originally developed for the new series of Rayman games:



Child of Light is headed to Xbox 360 and Xbox One (and PS3/PS4) on April 30th, 2014 for $14.99.
