Sheesh ... you gotta start with the technical questions, don't you *bite*

Cap usage varies depending on how busy the servers are - on weekends I generally find that I use between 15 - 25 MB/hr ... this isn't a hard and fast figure, so don't quote me on that

There is usually one update per week ... not much more than a few hundred kb's at a time.

With regards to line speed - I've seen people play on 384 ADSL lines with few issues - I'm with Vodacom ... so it depends on my signal. Can't vouch for the fixed line guys - but my average latency hovers between 400 - 800ms - completely playable.

For noob tips ... be specific

Mephisto ... you only see other people in towns and outposts ... every time you step into the wild - you're on your own (or group at least)

I used to play it on dialup - so as per line speed & cap - you do the math.

I find Guild Wars uses around 5-10Mb/hour of normal play. Line speed won't be a problem...I played on 56K for a year back when I first got it. Updates are tiny...like usually less than a meg, so you won't have a problem there either.

If you plan on getting it, the Complete Collection is the way to go. Excellent value-for-money.

    They are indeed

Would be nice if you could choose which to create instead of it creating them all when you type /bonus ><
