High ping with both my accounts(afrihost and telkom)

I think it might be my line but I am getting really high ping and its not from downloading I checked

I get a ping from 400+ or 300+ Not sure just started tonight.

You trying doing tracert? Should be able to get some indication if it's your line or not

Yeah do tracerts, 2nd hop will determine exchange trouble ( congestion )

Been getting this issue for probably more than a month now. My ping idles at 1000ms on a local server did a tracert definitly exchange congestion, but this is probably one of the first times it's been this bad before.

Been getting this issue for probably more than a month now. My ping idles at 1000ms on a local server did a tracert definitly exchange congestion, but this is probably one of the first times it's been this bad before.

Mine is around 100ms now in the evenings, and 20ms during the day. It will worsen every week/month depending how bandwidth hungry the neighborhood becomes. And telkom denies exchange congestion, don't bother contacting them to fix, been there done that.

Me too , it seems to start at about 7
I have logged it but Telkom has no clue why .
I thought it was just me

Telkom ISP has been having problems yet they won't admit it.
