I played from the time it unlocked until now and I must say I am very impressed. My character is at lvl 69 and I was having a pretty hard time, some of the enemies can take (and hand out) quite a beating. I made it to the first new boss once, but he got the best of me before too long. At least I got one of the new weapons up to +6.

Can't wait to continue after work tomorrow (today).

Sort of. A friend and I started new characters a while ago specifically for doing Old Hunters co-op. Didn't want my first experience with it on NG++. [emoji14]

This is how you do dlc, there is real substance to it.Eurogamer rated it essential.

Well from what I recall they had more future DLC planned but instead decided to bundle it all together for Old Hunters.

If you have Bloodborne you need to get this DLC ASAP. It is really, really good and once again From shows how DLC should be done. The new weapons and outfits and stuff are awesome and so far it has been one of hell of a (good) challenge. Tried a bit with my NG++ character as well, but I can't beat the first boss with her, yet. It did take me about 6 or 7 tries with my lower level character though.

Yeah, the recommended level is between 60 and 70, but I had to level to 80 before being able to beat the first boss. I've seen some reviews recommend lvl 100, but I'm not gonna level further until I feel overwhelmed again. Using all my echoes for bullets and bloodvials. Still need to farm for bloodstone shards to level al the new weapons as well.

This content is handing me my ass on NG++. At least we're making decent progress on NG, think we are in the last area now. Already got both my DLC weapons up to +8, now to decide which one to +10 first.
