No Planet Side 2 has improved greatly in the performance department and it truly is a unique game.

The open world survival genre market is becoming pretty saturated. Do we really need another one of these?

The market is saturated with alpha version of open world survival games.
If SOE comes up with a release built with all the mentioned features, it'll woo a lot of the audience.

Wouldn't mind giving it a try, it's free after all

Only free when the official game gets released.. if you want to join the alpha it's going to be $20

Waaaht? Why would people pay to test a free game?? :confusedJackyChanMeme:

Back in the days it was the other way around. Testers get the alpha for free, and charge for the release.

Yeah its weird.. but I think your just paying to be able to start before anyone else.. to be part of the early access people.. you'll probabely get some special tag next to your name or some unique items for having paid

Game companies are simply exploiting peoples desire to always be the first to try something new.

It's the "I must have this now" and "Shut up and take my money" attitude that's causing this.
