Could be. Either way, some people say it's "fine" to skip brotherhood because it doesn't continue on with the story as much. That's completely false. In fact, the plot twist brought in from brotherhood is massive.

Technically the titles don't specifically reference to II in the title. However saying that it's more factually correct to mention them as ACII brotherhood and revelations since they are still chapters in the Ezio storyline and it makes more sense to rope them in with ACII since they aren't really standalone storylines.

I'd say go to black flag ASAP, What bores me is the repitive tail, listen in and assassinate formula, really need to get more creative.

I didn't feel like there were too many of those in Black Flag that it became boring, but then I haven't played the previous AC's so I guess if those missions feature substantially in those then I can understand the annoyance.

Well, I'm playing through AC:Revelations now on XBOX360 and then I'll move on to AC:3 on the XBOX360 as well.

After that I'll play AC:4 on PC which the wifey bought me for father's day

    sorry for the semi-necro.

Personally i would not skip AC3 if i were you.

I enjoyed the Game as well as all the new features it had to offer. Sure AC4 might be better, but you can hunt in AC3 what more do you need in an AC game.

I finished Black Flag the other night, now I'm giving AC3 another go - going from Kenway to Connor is painful.
At least my horse hasn't got stuck in the trees again so far.
