The South African Airways uses an unfair admittance policy for its cadet pilot development programme, which does not admit white males, trade union Solidarity said on Thursday.

This was following an unsuccessful application by a white man, who had also applied in 2013 and was unsuccessful.

Can confirm this, been going on for a long time. I also went for an interview with them and got told that I was the top candidate, I was practically being welcomed to the team when some other guy came in and told me they had already hired someone else, which turned out to be a BEE candidate. I later received a phone call from someone "higher up" and he told me not to take offense as it was the norm now and it was in no way my fault or because of anything I did.

They don't really give a shit, I've seen tons of job offers in the news paper where it stated white males need not apply, or positions are only for BEE/AA candidates ect.

Hasn't SAA been doing this for many years now? I read something similar to this on SAA wikipedia page earlier this year.
