Yeah, that has kinda solved it. Though I find it's more prone to this during hot humid days and rainy days strangely enough. Mine has been on standby now for the week and haven't had an issue as yet, though when it's off I still get the constant three beeps like I'm touching the eject disc button.

I've also been through the motion of tightening that manual disc eject screw witch resolves the auto eject issue. Though I believe I may have an earthing problem at home, cos I can feel a slight voltage coming through the USB cable when I'm earthed as well as touching the "touch" buttons.

PS: Did you know they aren't actually touch sensitive? There's actually a little button like metal piece behind it!
