With the game launching on the 27th of May 2014, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread up for the game. Personally I have been looking forward to this game since it was1st announced, I was incredibly pissed off with Ubisoft with the whole pre rendered video bullshit they pulled at E3 but I can't help but get excited for the game.

If you have the game on pre order and if you'll be buying it on release please post on what platform and what edition of the game you ordered/are ordering.

I am def getting it on PC, ordered and activated the Watch Dogs Special Edition on Uplay already.

 
I ordered the Dedsec and Vigilante edition both on PC did my order through BT games so i can't wait for this game

I'm hoping someone forgets their dedsec edition so I can claim it. I only ordered the Vigilante because I was planning to buy it the week after ACIV.
 
I pre-ordered too late and missed out on a DEDSEC edition :cry:. Would've loved the statue. Anyhow, super excited for the game. Just over 1 week to go :D. (ordered on PS4)

I'll be waiting for a view reviews first, but by the looks of things it looks to be good. Gives me a "Sleeping Dogs" with tech vibe and I loved that game. If I do get it, it will probably be on PS4.
 
I can't wait for this, pre-ordered ages ago but I am very happy that they decided that they need to delay the game and had the balls to do it. I'll take a delayed game over a broken game anyday - Diablo III, Simcity, Battlefield 4 etc etc etc
 
Pre-ordered it on Steam and patiently waiting to find out whether it was money well spent or not.

I figure that as long as it gives me the same kind of experience as Sleeping Dogs did, then I'll be happy. If it turns out to just be a generic GTA with hacking and some bland characters, I think I'll cry.

That's something that has been bugging me as well, I've been thinking Ubisoft might just want a slice of GTA Pie, hopefully we are wrong. On a side note, I have a sneaky suspicion that GTA 5 on PC might be released soon after Watch dogs, that will def rain on Ubisoft's parade lol.

I have a feeling it might be a let down :(

holding thumbs it isn't. Will get it once I am sorted in the uk.
 
As usual I'll have to wait till the early players finish it and sell it on gumtree, and with the sheer amount of content offered, it looks like it'll be a considerably long wait. :/

I work for a BTGames, we had a lot of customers order 2 or 3 different editions if we still have stock of the collectors after the 7 day holding period, let me know what store you are at and I can maybe have one sent there for you.

Otherwise, somewhat excited, I will wait for reviews before I buy it, or I may just give in and buy it on launch day.

I also have been looking forward to Watch Dogs since E3 last year, Looks like such an awesome game.

I will prob get it on PC.

Just 10 more days till release :D
 
Really hyped about this game and looking forward to it, though at present I don't have a PC so unfortunately I refuse to get a game like this on PS3/Xbox. I think the sheer scale of the game will have to be dumbed down a crapton in order to run decently, I would rather have an experience I would enjoy.
