Default So, I have this job interview coming up.

It's at incredible connection, and I was wondering if anyone on here has worked there. If you did, what was it like?

Yeah, they're making me take a test as well, to make sure my technical knowledge is up to scratch.

You'll be fine...I've encountered staff struggling with the difference between ethernet and usb cables so the test can't be that difficult.

I might be in the same boat as you in the near future, would you mind telling us how it went afterwards?

Friend of mine worked there and said the test was simple. If you know anything about PCs you will be fine.

Yeah I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult.

Incredible Connection isn't an enthusiast store but more for office use with low - mid tier pc peripherals.

At OP - interviews are enjoyable and nothing to worry about. Just keep a clear head and don't rush through anything.

    Best of luck

My personal and expert knowledge in this, depending on your age and abilities. Do not join them.

its a harsh thing to say when you are battling to find something yes, but in IT your experience is everything. My suggestion (even though not asked for) would be to find a company looking for technicians or fek even staff to work for free.

If you go my route, you will find that your knowledge, capabilities and experience will hold stronger for the future. As well as studies in the field, MCTP or MCSE etc.

Just paying the bills will only get you so far, working for free for a short time and establishing yourself in a small company will work wonders on your CV.

Incredible Corruption and PC Zone are the bane of the IT community.

Edit: Bah looking at the date you probably have the job or you dont. Either way its not the end of line i guess. Focus on your studies and try get as much experience as you can mate.

Work in the IT field is long and taxing, the quicker and most cost effective way you can deal with problems will always keep the clients happy.

    Good luck man!
