With the current price tag? Nope.
Would've picked one up if I had the cash during that toys 'r us sale though.

Maybe Ninty will unveil a cheaper slim Wii U at E3 though, who knows
That's just like, your opinion, man.

I think thats a bit of wishful thinking... As much as i love nintendo and their games, i think the Wii U is dead in the water... They need to come to the party with something developers can put in the same category as the PS4 and X-1... Not better, just on par... Their biggest problem, in my opinion, is they have become to niche, they need the support of 3rd party developers to sell the console, their games alone are not enough to get people interested...

I really like the idea of the Wii U, and its backwards compatability is a plus too but I think Nintendo's games are so flippin rubbish especially for older gamers.Mario, Kirby, Zelda etc. actually Zelda and Metroid could be great,( Zelda especially needs an overhaul.)
Anyway their target market is clearly kids up to probably grade 9........and girls.

Man that was the best special! But yeah that's holding the machine back, hey maybe they drop the price after E3... A slim would be a good idea but not like the slim Wii or 2DS, a proper slim model.

Got my Wii U for R3000 and has all the accessories from my old Wii and I am enjoying the games and waiting for Mario Kart and Smash bros to come out for it to get my first Wii U games.

At the moment I am playing the Wii games Smash Bros Brawl, Pokepark and Pokepark 2, I could not use them on my US wii cause of the region lock. I use my old Wii for the Gamecube games Pokemon Colesseum and XD.
