But yeah I agree. I generally stay away from preview hype articles, videos and the like. I makes sure I do not get overexcited, and that I do not buy into the hype, which the end product seldom lives up to.
The gaming world is becoming excessively ravenous at the moment. People are so overly keen for "The next big thing", that the gems sitting in their laps seldom get the attention deserved, often only garnering a few hours into those titles. All this before their next Collectors-Super-Special-Elite-Pre-Pre-Ordered-Version arrives.
I stopped getting excited for games when heroes 5 and c&c 3 and red alert 3 was so terrible.
