    Really interesting stats this. So the prevailing rule is that, if the game doesn't sell well in it's first week over here, then it's not going to be a commercial success.

    What Is not mentioned is Steam sales though, as many AAA titles I miss, I usually buy on Steam sales later in their life cycle. So I do think that Steam will still keep these titles commercially viable later in their life cycle.

    What this info does show, is the power of marketing. After the first few weeks of the game's release, the stores always jumps onto the next game release bandwagon and ignores the current titles in their stores.
