Budget? I see no budget anything in that article. Recommending a board that goes for R1500 is not budget. It's a very cool article, but it's named wrong.

That is more Mid-Range, but good opinions.

The best budget amd mobo IMO is the Biostar A780G m2 + Se , It supports Am3 cpu's out the box just like the more expensive am2+ asus boards, it supports acc thus you can unlock dorment cores on phenom II x2's and X3's, Its got an onboard Radeon Hd3200 (DX10) (Not the GMA type crap than intel makes for their boards) which you can use to play most games acceptably on low detail or use it in hybrid crossfire mode with another ati graphics card it has alot more features and the board is less than R700.

    Thats a good budget board

This provides an interesting choice for those currently in possession of an AM2+ CPU, in that they can splash out on an AM3 board, and upgrade the CPU at a later stage. Due to the small price difference, one should lean toward the AM3 socket motherboards, which come in at around R2000 for a high end gaming board.
Its the other way around Tinny ! Am3 Cpu's work in Am2+ boards not the other way around

Depends on your perspective tbh. For me, an R1500 board is very much a budget board, since I'm looking to spend around R5000 on a new one...
The difference between pizza and your opinion is that I asked for pizza.

I assume you ignored the part where I mentioned it's about your perspective, and the part where I went on to explain why...?
