For now I will not be going next gen. I've got quite a few 360 games to play still. I think that when the Oculus Rift comes out I will get that and upgrade my pc. That will be my way of going next gen.
E3 did reveal a pretty good lineup however as you said...most only releasing in 2015. I'm guessing late 2015 or maybe even sometime in 2016 would be the first time I consider purchasing a PS4. Hopefully by then we have platinum titles (a.k.a. cheapos) and also cheaper consoles. For now I'll pick up some cheapies on PS3 and also stick to my PC for the games releasing this year that I really want.
I'm going XBox one. Even though Microsoft are total d1cks because of their original plans for the console and they probably cannot be trusted, I am a total sucker for Halo and Forza and the Xbone's line up looks much better than the PS4
I'll wait for the price to be around R5000 (hopefully 2015 Christmas season) and I'll have my 360 to keep me company till then
