Rockstar has done it again with a World-first: they managed to port the PRICE of a console game to the PC as well. And, like GTA IV, didn't realize they were high as kites.

Yup, so if you're planning on getting this, wait for a steal sale in maybe another year after release or so. Honestly, screw their ports and their GTA 5.
Well newsflash, most other games also cost $60 in the states, regardless of whether it's PS4, XboxOne or PC.
I don't care, I'm still preordering it. I've been waiting forever for this thing to come out on PC. Its not like there aren't other games on PC that cost the same as on consoles anyway.

And it's going to sell well, therefore set a precedent.
Might pick it up in a year or two on sale with some expansions, like GTA4 is doing now.

Sorry, but you cannot justify console game prices on PC. You can't. The initial outlay for the hardware required to play the games is what justifies PC gaming being cheaper when it's time to purchase the game. Also, console game prices are higher due to licensing costs payable to Sony and MS. PC doesn't have those costs.

Can not justify those prices anywhere, but that's what they are so we have to deal with it. People will buy it regardless of whether you think it's too expensive. Some people even buy multiple coppies, not to mention all the money people waste on collectors editions with nothing but stupid toys in them. If you don't like it, either wait for the price to drop, or get a cheaper hobby.
