Well yeah that's just it. Remember when Modern Warfare 2 launched it R150 more expensive than any other game? No reason.. just there you go. More recently, everyone has just decided 'Hey let's add R200 to everything'. Now I understand increases are inevitable - and we've been lucky so far - but like I said in my original post - someones having a laugh (particularly with regard to digital game prices). Somewhere in some underground executive lair, a CEO is having sex with Miss Venezuela on top of a pile of my money.I just think Take2 saw how well it did and pushed the price along knowing millions will buy it...
Scooter + Roadrunner radio station = win.
And the messed up thing is that we kinda let them do it. Oh, I guess it's worth it, right? I mean there must be a reason for the price. Meh, I'm actually super jaded on gaming, or at least mostly the details outside of installing the game and playing it.
Much win
Seriously though, same price as the consoles? That's actually a hard pill to swallow :/
I think I can wait for bargain-bin vibes, I'm not exactly frothing at the mouth for the game at this point, and there are other upcoming games that interest me more.
Sooo, yeah...
Exactly the thing I'm worried about; they're setting a dangerous precedent here. Once the floodgates do open, I'll officially become a fully fledged AAA bargain buyer, and my commitment to indie gaming will be that much stronger. Seriously, gaming is become too expensive. Not that pricing never goes up, but good grief, what happened in the past 3 years???
