I doubt that a standard version of GTA V on PC will cost the same as a standard version of the console version (well the PS4/XBONE versions).
Right now GTA V still costs quite a bit on PS3 (R729 via takealot or R699 via Kalahari) which is still cheaper than something like Infamous: Second Son (R790 at Takealot and R759 at Kalahari) however that's still more expensive than the $59.99 (+/- R640 per the article) expense at Steam (which is usually more expensive than our local retailers for physical copies of the same game when it comes to PC titles). I very much doubt the PS4/XBONE versions will release at anything less than R700...so let's see what they actually announce (especially in terms of special editions and collector editions).
I'd pay R800-R1000 for a whopper PC version but not R800 for a standard console version...but perhaps I'm jaded because I'm buying it for a second time on my platform of choice.
