I expected this to happen at some point. PC games are going into the $60 Range on steam and I don't see it stopping with the horrendous exchange rates we get. Our games come from EU/UK and not the USA blame Megarom/SKE/APEX and who ever else that is a major importer of software.

On the other hand, making the game the same price on all platforms is some what a good idea makes it a little cheaper across the board yet PC has to suffer the most - welcome to our world those of you who never owned a console.
Haven't Rockstar PC versions always been more expensive? I recall Max Payne 3 launching at 499 when PC games where still at 399.
Of course this was round about when the "premium" game was fabricated out of thin air thanks to CoD and BF primarily.
Also the difference with the console versions is that you can at least trade in - imagine paying R700 for a PC game and if it's broken or shit, you're stuck with it. And I'm also a PC/Console gamer (mudblood as I'm called by friends) so I know the feels.
I just feel the price of games is going off the charts simply because it can - people bitching about BF4 (or rather EA) are already frothing at the mouth for Hardline after all.
