I think I know the ship of which you speak. Of the north coast of the first island as I recall

I've been busy with my first playthrough recently and also couldn't get into it. This thread inspired me to the point that the ONLY thing I'm currently playing is FC3! I love this game so much... It's fun, exciting, varied, beautiful and often terrifying.

It's a really good game. For me, just not one of those games I couldn't put down. Savor it like a fine wine if you will o.O . Other than a well polished game, it has moments of "omfgzor!!!"

    *Spoiler Alert*

Getting baked while burning fields of weed.
Hallucinating to wake up with Citra atop you O.O

    Lots of good moments.

Thank you this thread helped alot
Got it this weekend and battling a bit.
Question how do you save or is it only possible with visiting a safe house.
I mean save, where I just skinned 2 pigs and keep the skins even if i die before next mission. Current setup I go to menu select save. Save icon highlights, run through bush, komodo kills me. Start at last radio tower without the pig skins.

if i remember correctly there is check points around the game like when you take radio tower or base.

Good times, I enjoyed the burning the fields mission, had a great song playing while you're doing it, not my normal taste in music but it was really cool

Snap was hoping there was something I was missing. But I suppose not having free easy saves makes the game all that more engaging

Yup the song was Make it bun dem by Skrillex & Damian Marley, really made the mission feel awesome.

Never actually finished Far Cry 3, but will definitely finish Far Cry 4, loving it so far.

I managed to finish 3, but it became a chore as soon as I reached the second island. They should've kept it all on the one island, imho. I felt instant disgust when I realised I had to go through another island of radio towers and camps.
