The fight for a basic monthly salary of R12,500 in the mines continue, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) said on Sunday.

"We are going to fight until the rights of workers are recognised," party leader Julius Malema said.

"We are in Parliament, for the first time Parliament will discuss R12, 500," Malema told a crowd of about 3000 in Nkaneng informal settlement in Wonderkop near Marikana.
