    Default Flight Simulator Fans

Any fans of flight simulators here?
I love them and have loved them since I was 5. I was obsessed with planes and anything that could fly basically(even birds!) We had the commodore64 version of F15 Strike Eagle and I thought that jet on the cover was the coolest thing ever. The thought of controlling all that power and flying high over the land really drew me in.
From the C64 we got an Amiga500 and that was the king for flight games. F117A and Gunship 2000 were my favourite and graphics were superb for their time. There were a few there that I missed though like Eurofighter Typhoon and Tornado which looked like the cream of the crop in the mid 90's.

Then I moved on to PS1 and PS2 which had cool flying games like the Ace Combat series and Energy Airforce.

So now the main reason for this thread is I wanted to let you guys know about this free to play game called rise of Flight.
Its set in WW1 and it is awesome! The graphics are the best I've seen in a flight sim thus far.

the game is free with 2 planes and you can buy more planes later on if you wish(with real money) I have just started playing so still learning the controls and ,as with most sims, there is a crap load.

Please feel free to share and discuss your love or hate for flight games

The concept of a flight sim appeals, but honestly I don't have time for a plane sitting on a runway that doesn't move until you memorize 35 specific key presses in the right sequence.

And then you miss a key sequence and the plane just sits there...and then the plane just sits there...and then you go play team fortress 2.

Really did enjoy flying planes in GTA:SA though because it had a simple setup but still had proper roll, pitch and yaw buttons. (2 buttons for each of those plus two for accelerate/"brake"). Unlike the abomination of a flight control setup on Just cause 2...I don't even...

Is this something I can use my RC remote with and learn to control my RC plane better?
