Obviously looking to save cash where I can but more warried about quality and performance. So just basicly looking for advice on the best quality and performance card that would last me a few years. So I dont mind spending cash on a card that will last like 4 years. Later i could look at SLI.

Do you see yourself staying at 1080p or not?

I think for now yes. I am not to clued up with all this. Currently using a 27" Samsung 1080p monitor and a 50" Samsung tv. UHD is expensive in SA so wont be going to that soon.

I've got the 760 in mine and I've had no issues, this one seems to be very popular atm and should give you great results with room to SLI

Thanks for the help. So would the gtx780 or 780ti be overkill? Or will that be a better option? Or is the 770 perfect?

I think it's a little overkill unless you are looking for 4K or 120+fps in a game. Personally I would get a 770 and get a SSD than pay another 2k for the 780. With both you are looking at a R 10K bill and thats stretching my logical justification for an upgrade.

A 780 is quite a large step up from a GTX770 and as far as I am concerned well worth the money.
Rebeltech is running a MSI promotion at the moment and they have a MSI GTX780 Twin Frozr IV going for R6699 which is a damn good price.

To go a little more in depth, gaming at 1080P is generally fine on a GTX770 and a R9 280X, I def recommend them both but a GTX780 will def give you a massive boost in performance, especially if you love eye candy. Games likes Crysis 3, The Witcher 2, BF4 are all incredibly beautiful games and if you want high frames with all they eye candy a single GTX770 just won't cut it. Also take into account that these are all older games, no one knows what the future brings but games like The Witcher 3 will def need a minimum of a GTX780 to run well @ 1080P.

Next bit of advice, is a 780Ti worth it over a non Ti @ 1080P no, but if you plan on running 1440P or even 1080P @120Hz the 780Ti will be fantastic albeit it a little bit expensive.

I agree with Joker, a Geforce GTX780 would be a fine fit, as would a Radeon R9 290, which goes for a same price, but is mostly cheaper.
