I wouldn't say one sided, but I like the argument as a thought exercise more than anything. What would happen if both Supes and Bats went at it in an all out brawl with the intent of defeating each other? Considering they both know each other very well (they're pretty much best friends), and each has their own strengths and weaknesses to exploit. I think it's missing the point of the question when one says Superman or Batman would simply win without considering the amount of variables.
No he's not.

Apologies good Sir. I think I'm at fault here...
Back to topic: I think the argument of PC vs Consoles is a dead horse. It all comes to consumers looking for different things, and the variables in what they look for can't just be simplified to which is the hardware powerhouse or which is the cheaper platform, etc.
I really don't care...some games just work better on console than on PC and others just work better on PC. I prefer FPS games on PC as I want my mouse and KB, however for racing games and platformers I prefer console.
Where things get weird for me is games like Mass Effect where Mass Effect 2 & 3 on the console was awesome, but it was just as enjoyable on PC (except for ME1 which was just horrible on console for me); Personally I just play on whatever I want depending on what I think would be the best fit for the game. I couldn't care less if something runs 720p on a 50" screen or 1080p on a 22" monitor...graphics and graphic quality mean jack shit to me.
From a technical aspect you are 100% correct. I'm talking more from a controls perspective, take Tomb Raider as an example. I find Tomb Raider an absolute dream on a console (or with a controller on the PC), whereas playing it with the keyboard left me frustrated. Same applies to Call of Duty, on the console I found it extremely frustrating to play, whereas on the PC with a keyboard and mouse it just felt natural. It's more of a personal preference I guess, but that is how I feel. It has less to do with capabilities and horsepower than it has to do with the experience.
Hang on a second, I've noticed something:
I think Kevin has just friend-zoned the entire forum.Thread: PC and Console gamers: let's just be friends
One day, I'll grow up and become responsible.
Probably not today.
Yes and No; From what I can gather you can use the KB & Mouse for navigation but not for games (I have not tried this and have no intention to try it either). I'm funny in that respect, I also dislike the layout of the DualShock controllers and prefer the XBOX 360 controller for PC (where I feel it makes sense) and my console gaming (which is predominantly XBOX 360)
