PC and Console gamers: let's just be friends

I find that very difficult to believe. Can you give some examples and say why you think they won't work well on PC? Aside from developer incompetence, I can't imagine any good reason why a game shouldn't work as well or better on PC than on console.

I do think that sports games like FIFA is much better on consoles, even if you use a controller on PC it still feels smoother on consoles.

Maybe, PC is definitely my Favorite but games like FIFA just work on consoles, especially having 4 or so controllers with some mates playing.

I'm putting this down to the fact that FIFA on the PC platform has never really been a priority. They only started getting FIFA PC on par with FIFA Console with FIFA '11 or '12 (in terms of engines), and even then you can tell that they developed it primarily for consoles while PC gets a port that could be better (I guess it's been better with FIFA 12 and 13). They even did the same thing with FIFA 14 in the form of the PS4 and Xbox One consoles getting their with the Ignite engine, while leaving PC with the same Ignite-less version as last gen consoles (let's just say I wasn't even remotely impressed).

That's mostly because the PC and console versions are completely separate projects handled by different teams, afaik. In general I think sports games are better on console, but only for that fact. Other than that, I think PCs can do everything a console does and better at that too.

At the risk of being flamed, I'll keep gaming on PC for my serious gaming and later on I might get a console for my casual gaming. Like, use the PC for everyday gaming and the console for when I've got a few friends over and we want to play some games.
