Thread: What MMOs are you currently playing

A massive war is currently underway in Eve, here is a small video of the first big battle in that war:

Just a note, this is a big view of such a battle, this is NOT an RTS. Each ship you see has a real person flying it.

Guild Wars 2 mostly. Though I do get bored with it quickly.

Whelp, good news for the Repopulation. Id rather wait longer for a release than have another bugged game with Hero Engine's limitations.

We have been quietly slaving away the past few months getting Fragmented (our initial UE4 title) ready for Early Access. We let testers in during March and we released 12 patches during the month. We expect to see Fragmented out for all Repopulation owners this month (April).

This will be the foundation that we will build the new UE4 version of Repopulation on. If you wish to check it out now please check out the link to register for a key if you own a copy. All Repopulation owners will be given a copy on Steam once it is released officially on Steam.

We look forward to a great 2016 with the arrival of Fragmented and giving everyone an early taste of The Repopulation later in the year.

Currently jumped back into World of Warcraft, I always hope to find a new better MMO, but have not yet succeeded in finding one.

Well that is disappointing, no more MMO sub forum. Oh well, guess the usage stats were very low. Indicative of the state of MMOs as a game genre I think.

The popularity of MMO's in SA has gone down considerably in the last 5 years. It still has very healthy discussion forums internationally. Same goes for local guilds. They never stick around for long because of drama or everyone switching to a FOTM MMO.

Speaking of, anyone know of an international mature guild for SWTOR?

    Currently playing EQ2 and SWTOR.

I've also found that folks flit from one MMO to the next (FOTM MMO - love it!), and when a major new title comes out many drop the MMO entirely to play the other game until they're bored of it.

Then they either come back to the MMO or go onto the next big game that comes out.

Well, the community in GW2 is definitely active. I don't usually find it difficult to get groups for stuff like Fractals and the like. Even the starter still have regular people.

But I do think the novelty of MMO's have died. I will definitely not try to play WoW now for instance. I just simply don't have time to get a character to max level before the next expansion is released :P

Im still in Skyforge, have managed to unlock all the classes, busy with unlocking all my divine forms. I still love the game so much. Then I also started Tree of Saviour - this is fun and cute, the lag kills it tho some days.

Some screenies - they fixed the issue where it shows the screenie photos ui - yes there is a whole ui for taking screenies - it effectively freezes the fight for the person taking photos.

Unfortunately the grindy sameness of doing the same missions over and over again in Skyforge killed it for me.
