Best advice, especially if you're in SA and want to keep playing PSOne/ PS3 games, hold onto your PS3.

Agreed... One thing that grates me is that iv bought quite a few PS1 classics like Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 on my PS3, and I just cant understand why i cant install my PSN games on my PS4...

When the PS3 Launched they said it wasn't backward compatible, then they launched a bunch of the classics on the PSN, which even if i owned on PS1 I had to pay for again... You cant tell me the emulation they use on the PS3 cant be easily incorporated into the PS4...

Im with you on this one... Or they are more focused on getting me to "rent" the games on PS Now on the PS4... Iv paid for the games twice, why not milk me for a rental fee while there at it?

This exactly why this thread was created.
No doubt Microsoft screwed up big time before the launch of the X one, while Sony was actually doing a rather excellent job.
Now that the consoles are available it seems like the roles have switched with Microsoft actually trying to give people better value for money and back tracking on all their absurd non sense the spewed before launch, While Sony is looking to screw over their fans with bullshit like this.
