Ubisoft has announced that MMO racer The Crew will also be released for Xbox 360 on November 11 - the same date that Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions will be released.
"It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation," says Ubisoft's Tony Key, senior VP of sales and marketing. "The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible."
Key says that The Crew's core features, scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience will remain the same with the move to Xbox 360.
The Xbox 360 version is being developed by Asobo Studio, but will receive support from Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections, the developers of the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions.
Ubisoft has also announced that another closed beta round will commence on Xbox One and PS4 in late September; more details on this beta period will be made available "at a later date."
