The announcement that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be exclusive to Xbox has got a few gamers angry, and rightly so

I often browse the official Tomb Raider forums to keep up on the news and I have to admit the franchise has some rabid fans . I was just as disappointed to hear the exclusivity announcement and believe it is a huge mistake after how they finally brought the brand back into the mainstream but some of those people really need to chillax

It will become an instant loss making venture to go exclusively xbox. No way I am going to shell out my hard earned loot just do I can pay this. No way.

Pretty chuffed that I have an Xbox One right about now, though I was actually looking forward to playing it on PC. As an Xbox One gamer, I can't say I agree with the decision to make such a huge game a timed exclusive. All I can think of is that Microsoft paid Crystal a fat some of cash in order to try and drive Xbox One sales, thereby negating the loss Crystal may have felt not selling to PC/PS4 initially. At any rate, Pre-Ordering now. Done.

Look on the bright side, the XBONE gamers will basically "beta-test" this game before a fully functional, bugless release sees the PC/PS4 scene.
