Azimuth, I finally gave into your dominating advice and got Skate2 and Bad Company. I can see both of them being awesome games if you can master the controller - I did a few missions in BC, but still totally suck with the aiming part.

The lady got me Dirt2 for my burpday, so I've been playing that flat out! Such a kick ass game as well!

Is "Universe at War" any good?

I saw the Xbox 360 version going for R69 at Musica this morning.

Yea I sold my PS3 before I left SA and bought an Xbox when I arrived in the UK!

Dude, stick it out. It took me a couple of Gears of War campaign runs to get it right myself.

I think the most common mistake PC gamers make with controllers is moving the sticks too much. Generally speaking, controllers require smaller, subtler, faster movements on the sticks than you might be used to pushing on a mouse (this can vary with the game, though).

Just keeping trying. I promise you'll come right.

I was the same at first, but now I'm pretty used to the controller.
It was difficult and I sucked online but after a few hours of modern warfare, halo and gears2 I got it right!

I will second that, I mastered the controller after only ever using a kb / mouse and now I almost don't want to play any games on my pc anymore.

I actually love FPS games on my console now.

Agreed with Grimspoon! I flippen love my xbox now, and honestly I don't think I'm going to get a hectic pc anymore because I don't think I will play that many games!
