Hi all like most of you know sitting without internet till telkom wakes up and come and install it.

Now I got daw2 and I know it has a 700meg updated but since I already got the update is there a way of just coping it to my brothers pc so he don't have to update a full 700meg.

I know there is steam updates I need to get going to use my phone hopefully but there is no way that I want I can download such a big file with my phone.

So can anybody tell me the steps(what files) to copy. And is there any funny catches.

Atm I can't log into steam in offline mode to backup my game since I heard you can do it that way.

Yeah, just browse to your relevant ...\SteamApps folder, and copy the content across.

So its as simple as that cool thank give it a go.

Oh, just one thing - once you've copied the content to your brother's Steam folder, he'll have to go online to verify it. It'll look like it's starting the update download, but it'll complete in a few seconds.

In your My Games tab right click on the you want to backup. There should be a backup content option. Click on that and follow the steps. It'll back everything up for you and create a little executable file that you run when you've done you reinstall.
