Spartan I am rehashing my warframe entry:

    Warframe:

It's difficult to put it in words why I love warframe but I will try.

It is the movement of the characters as they flow from one animation into another as run across walls and do stylish attacks. It is the satisfying feeling you get as your enemies crumbles before your attacks. It is how well different frames and powers work together while you are cheering each other on over Team speak. It's is the way you can customize almost everything to suit the way you want to play and the way you can improve them by levelling and polarizing them. It is the game play elements that have been masterly crafted together into a symphony that calls you to play just one more mission over and over again.

Then there is the satisfaction to reach wave 60 in a defence run with friends, a lot of shouting and even swearing . . .

And then there is the clan logo - who doesn't want run around with a Grim Wolf on their shoulder!

With over 400 hours in the game, and the fact that they brought in puppies (dogs that you breed from eggs as pets - who fight with you) it still is my favourite game to play

    Diablo III.

    We started as mere humans.
Our world thrust into turmoil and anguish.

When the darkness came we fought. We grew stronger.
Finding powerfull relics of the past to aid our ways with a defunct keeper of the heavens lighting our path as our ally on the way to freedom.

After the Devils were slain we, the Nephalim, saviours of all that is good, became devided. Not human, not immortal....
Fighting for power in the trails set for the strongest of Nephalim; We attempt to make our mark on history.
Before those Gods that allowed us to gain power smite us... in fear of what we may become.

    Dead Rising 3.

Who doesn't like killing countless zombies? The market has become a bit saturated with zombie titles of late and while some people have started to grow tired of slaying the undead by the hundreds, I have not. There may be too many zombie games out there, but how many of them allow you to indulge your zombie slaying desires while dressed in a schoolgirl outfit and sporting an afro with a handlebar moustache? The answer could only be Dead Rising 3. How many of them allow you to combine a motorcycle with a steamroller to create a flame-throwing vehicle of mass zombie destruction? Once again, the answer could only be Dead Rising 3. Or perhaps you would prefer combining an assault rifle with a lead pipe to create a firearm which sprays bullets in multiple directions? Don't worry, Dead Rising 3 has you covered. Or maybe you like "massagers" and would like to see what happens when you combine one with a leafblower? You guessed it, Dead Rising 3 allows you to do just that.

Capcom Vancouver have really outdone themselves this time around with giving the player a sandbox to explore while slicing, bashing, crushing and just good-old-fashioned shooting hundreds upon hundreds of the undead of various shapes and sizes. The last time I checked my kill count was close to 13000 and it is still climbing at a steady pace. Some people might complain about the 30FPS cap and the less-than-perfect port to the PC, but they probably wouldn't know a good time if it slapped them in the face. My PC doesn't even meet the requirements and I suspect it barely reaches that 30FPS, but I could not care less. This game is a prime example of why gameplay is king, and beats out story or visuals any day of the week.

    Enjoy some screenshots:

    P.T.

(I realize this is in fact a demo and not a full game, but I hope it will count as it will never form any part of any full fledged title and in essence is a complete experience on it's own)

At last month’s Gamescom, Sony revealed a mysterious new horror game for PlayStation 4, P.T., and announced that a demo would be immediately available on their Playstation Network. Fast forward a few hours, and the internet has been set ablaze with reactions to the demo, which concludes with a revelation that P.T. is in actual fact, a “Playable Teaser” for the new Silent Hill game. Only upon finding this out and seeing the reactions to the demo online did I decide to dust off my PS4 and dive into what many were calling the most terrifying videogame they had ever experienced. As an avid horror fan, I couldn’t wait.

I’m going to start off with this: despite its brief playtime, P.T. is probably the scariest piece of entertainment I have ever played or witnessed – and I’ve watched a lot of horror movies and survived a lot of games. Not much makes me jump anymore, but as soon as my protagonist woke up in that dimly lit room for the first time and an incredibly detailed cockroach walked by, I knew I was in for something special. You play in first-person perspective and the game simply oozes atmosphere, with the graphics at times reaching photo-realistic quality, making the world that much more believable – for better or for worse.

The entire game takes place in what initially looks like a very normal suburban home (or rather, a single L-shaped passage of one), but anyone that has played it will know that despite the limited environment, which loops every time you exit the door at the end of it, this home is far from normal and that it is the stuff nightmares are made of.

After re-entering the hallway for the second time, initially it seems like nothing has changed. But very slowly, things begin to become more and more nightmarish and there were definitely moments where I had to put the controller down and take a deep breath, realizing I’d been holding my breath for far too long in fear. I don’t want to go into too much detail of what nightmares await you in this hallway (or more specifically, the bathroom sink!), as it is best experienced with as little knowledge of it as possible, but I do believe it is an experience worth having. There comes a point in P.T. where the tension is so thick and you are literally terrified to go through that door yet another time, and it was at this point that I was confident Konami had finally put the Silent Hill brand back in good hands. How much the final game resembles P.T. remains to be seen, but Silent Hill definitely has potential to become the scariest game of all time.

P.T. is an unforgettable experience that stays with you long after you finish it, and as we are heading into the official horror month of October, I dare all of you at iGame to reach the end of this demo. Alone. In the dark. With a headset on.

    Bioshock Infinite

Lots of great things can be said about this, but not much has been said about the size of the game.
I'm not talking about the in-game map size... No no, I'm talking about the game size in terms of size on HDD.
Standing at a staggering 40GB (excluding that recent 5GB update), this took ages to download on a 2mb line.

So? How is this game of the moment, you ask?
During this period of download - I sacrificed surfing, streaming and most forms of online gaming in hopes that the game will download at full speed.

Queue Lyncan's speed test result here...
    Jelly.I.Am.

    It was close to torture.
Somehow as the download begins to fill up, I began more hyped.
You would not believe the joy I had when I ran the game the first time.
It was like watching the first episode of the fourth season in the Game of Thrones after the summer wait - I giggled like a little fangirl from excitement.

Late entry because that 5GB update took a while to download!
