Angry Castlevania: Lords of Shadow... Still Dead

Seeing as the second one is on sale at Takealot for R69 that made me check yet again and to my surprise the first one is still not allowed in SA because of the FPB

I guess we will never get it then

How many of you have gotten steam keys from other sources and loaded them onto your SA account without any issues?

    anyway just a mini rant

Maybe use a VPN? Or try r/SteamGameSwap on reddit, I am sure some one is willing to swop a game for you.

Ultimate edition is on sale at getgamesgo for $15 and there doesn't seem to be a region restriction warning.
Mirror of fate HD is $7.49

I don't know what will happen when you try activate it on steam though.

    Thats the million dollar question...

    mmmm

What restrictions are there on trading Steam Gifts?

Trading a Steam Gift is very similar to sending a gift to someone; just that once it is traded that user can then either trade it again, or open it for themselves. There are no restrictions on territory.

So Here is supports answer i'm not sure they follow but okay..

    Hi Support

I do not want to do anything illegal or against steams rules and regulations but the local Publication bored let this slip by somehow the game is available on all platforms but pc and the second one is already here but the first one must have slip through the cracks,in actual fact the local gaming forum here has queried them and they never responded.

    Anyway to my question:

if a game namely in this case Castlevania Lord of Shadow has yet to be ok'd by the local film and publication board and therefore is Not Available In Your Territory for purchase can it still be traded or gifted for by someone who can purchase the game in another territory and then activated and played in mine, or is that going to be violating something?

    I see that https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...417#howtotrade states
"What restrictions are there on trading Steam Gifts?

Looking forward to your response, thanks for the hard work guys I know what its like working support desk.

    Regards
    Bruce

    Hello Bruce,

No, you will note be able to redeem a purchase that is made outside of your region.

If you have any further questions, please let us know - we will be happy to assist you.

Yeah I think the guy thinks you want to buy it outside of your region ON STEAM.

If this comes on a 75% discount I would probably just take a chance.

You can just trade for a ROW copy, I have the game activated on my Steam account, just haven't fully downloaded it yet...

Rest of World. Now checking though it seems I traded for the RU+CIS one, Ukraine and those places get the games for cheaper so it's normally those people who trade for keys.

As you can see it's only purchase restricted so it works. (Can still trade and activate).

Here's an example of of game that will not work:
