I'll stick to the single player campaign, once the game hits the bargain bin.

totally disagree with the street fighter 4 comments ... that and batman are my games of the year . also disagree with prototype being there.

Look just a quick one for MW2. I've been playing it for a while now.

In all honesty, it's the system that fails not the game. The game itself is WAAAY better than COD4 was, if you take features, maps etc. All it needs is promod to complete the package game wise.

It's IWnet failing not the core game itself.

Prototype deserves to be on that list. I lost interest in it long before even finishing the game. MW2 was also very underwhelming, not counting the multiplayer.

I agree with you absolutely. The bit of the SP campaign that I played was awesome, and I have no doubt that the MP maps are just as great.

But, buying the game means I support the people who made it - and given:
1. That they don't feel like listening to the people who support them, and
2. The outrages pricing of the game in stores (I saw R500 at IC),

I don't feel like buying it and effectively granting them a vote of confidence.

I've managed to play a bit of Borderlands now as well ... awesome game. Between CODMW2 and Borderlands the latter would get my vote. COD is really just a ramped up version of the original - so nothing new there.

Nothing that I played was disappointing. Except the lack of dedicated servers(The moment I get the net.)I never got to play cod4 online and cannot find any copy's of the game.
