There should be a rule instated by the Geneva convention that no kids may be used in the making of scary movies and/or games.

FEAR 2 doesnt seem as scary as FEAR 1. I dont know, fear 1 felt more eerie to me but I haven't got very far [just got my slow mo mode]. Hopefully it gets better.

Fear 1 is a classic and just because of your expectations Fear 2 won't be the same unfortunately.
This games graphics look horribly dated, COD4 looks better than this.
Gameplay isn't too bad just the game looks too cartoony for me.
I'll definitely get my hands on this one. Loved the first one, and I assume the sequel won't let me down.
here's my take.
Look it's FEAR through and through. The leveldesign, the scare tactics, the atmosphere, you can immediately recognise you are playing a Fear franchise game.
But the nice update in visuals, sound, and some gameplay eliments are definitely an improvement to the previous titles. The overall engine looks a bit dated here and there, but it makes up for it with some very sharp texture resolutions for the closeup stuff, but only on selected items though.
I just find the Ai a bit stupid? Not kidding I cranked the Difficulty so that maby it takes me 2-3 days to finish the game instead of one afternoons playing, but still I expected more as the game sofar is a breeze with ammo, armor and health littered everywhere!
I enjoyed the first game but the sequel is just too expensive, especially for a game that's not that great.
Well seeing that I got my copy as a prezzie, THe price tag rules out my judgement.
