The PS3 has managed to elude mainstream piracy altogether (so far, anyway). It's partly due to the prohibitive cost of writeable Blu-ray discs, but I've read that the system architecture also has something to do with it. I'm not sure of the specifics, but the console microprocessor's seventh core - dedicated to security and DRM management - is apparently entirely inaccessible to code manipulation.
They'll probably crack it eventually, but it hasn't happened yet - and if it has, it's been kept very much on the inside. In other words, hardly anybody's actually doing it.

Truth is, even if MW2 was all that it was supposed to be, with Dedi Servers and all it would still be the most pirated game of 2009.
