The hardest Metal I listen to is Godsmack or Disturbed.
It's not too hardcore and I enjoy a lot of the lyrics in their songs. But, Black and Death Metal, if Death exists, is just TOO DAMN hardcore - for me!
Check out the bands they are fans of, that's "edgy".
Edgy in this case, being the sound of cats making love slowed down, being accepted as "vocals".
This is a game of extremely bad taste, made by people with an extremely bad taste in music.
