Yeah its a grind I would not do this since you pretty much have to not make mistakes in combat.

Haha, lost or dropped? I remember I dropped a scroll in Nr 1 which I later found out I needed to progress. I ended up having to scour the entire universe and just before giving up I uploaded the save game to their forums and one of the other forum members actually helped me to find the scroll. It was dropped in the worst possible place, but at least I could find it.
When an anti-piracy method is affecting the game for people who legitimately bought it and causing other people not to buy the game, there is obviously something wrong with it!

lost it dropped from someting in there and did not see it drop so went my merry way wondering where I could get the key to unlock that door and after I have been everywhere else. Finaly found it luckly.

Ouch yeah I make loot dumps where I can easily find it since there is so many clues and just stuff that I just don't know when I will need it.

Yep, I learnt a hard lesson that day as well. From now on I create dedicated loot dumps and I note on my what I dropped and where.

This might have been a good idea. Hope I don't regret not doing this later on, but I must say I am enjoying the game quite a lot at the moment. I'm now in the boggy area after Twigroot

Better to start doing it now :P The longer you wait the more ground you will have to cover to find the missing item.
