Thread: Scuf controller for PS4?

  1. #1

    Default Scuf controller for PS4?

I'm trying to track down a local seller of Scuf controllers - I've been in the hunt for a while, but no joy yet. I tried gamingcartel.co.za but that now seems to be a thing of the past.

Anybody know where I can get one locally?

    Thanks!

Local suppliers... Sadly no one supplies them locally because they are made to order. You will have to order directly from the website and the cheapest one available incl. postage is $149.90 about R1600~ excl. VAT which you may have to pay extra when it arrives here in SA.

Personally, it is not worth the money you are paying to get that 'questionable' advantage in games.

Thanks for the info Glordit, even though the news isn't good

Personally I couldn't care less about any advantage. It is just that the stock PS4 controller is such a piece of crap in my opinion, that anything has to be better. I've had to replace three stock controllers already, as the thumb grips keep disintegrating. I've now bought additional thumb thingies that fit over the stock items, and this is definitely better - but the controller still feels dinky and cheap next to the Xbox One's. Just a pity the Xbox One isn't a better gaming console

PS. I found a dongle that allows me to plug the Xbox 360 controller into my PS4, but unfortunately the Xbox 360 controller doesn't have a touchpad. And with more and more games using it, I'm finding it more of a hassle than a help. Which is precisely why I'm looking for a better PS4 controller...

They are. I seen them at Rage, and the quality is definitely there, but for that type of money, not for me.
I'm not very good at FPS anyway. Maybe the competitive players would appreciate them more.

Im sorry if im not quite in the loop here, but whats the difference between this and a normal remote? Is it just the cool look, or as the controller enhanced in some way?

I think they're enhanced somewhat, in the sense that their analogue sticks are more sensitive along with buttons etc.
They're designed more for competitive play and FPS games.

The Scufgaming website is so terrible... Im not sure if it doesnt support Chrome or what the problem is, but I cant look at anything on their site...

I will admit the controllers look awesome, but that price is rough...

There are 'bars' at the at the back that, mimick the buttons at the front. Complete waste of money IMO.
