It doesnt actually hook into the game. It sends key presses to the active application. So for example if you configure it to set throttle to 0 it will send a keypress of x to the game. The info about the universe is just pre recorded stuff that plays back on your request. you can have notepad open and ask it about supernovas and it will still give you the info. Having a blast in the game currently. So many things to do and i ended up trying to fuel scoop. Caused more damage to my poor eagle than the fuel is worth.
