You mean the resolution/UI issues? There are a few workarounds but none of them are perfect. I'd buy both games again in a heartbeat if they could fix them properly. I was forced to play KOTOR2 on 1600x1200 on a 16:9 monitor just to get it to work properly the other day.

Nope, KotOR (and KotOR II I think) really don't like multi-core systems. At least that's the problem I've encountered, which caused me to have to disable a bunch of things to get it working, like cutscenes. The GOG version has apparently fixed that. I also had a problem that during combat, the icons for your actions (like flurry, attack, force powers ect) wouldn't display in the area they're meant to, and would instead show up randomly in the middle of the screen. It made issuing commands quite challenging to say the least.

There's also the "flawless widescreen mod" that lets you play in widescreen by the way. There was one for KotOR II as well, I think it was called UNIWS. There should be a guide on the Steam Community, if you own it over there. That coupled with the Restored Content mod made the game almost perfect.

I recommend checking out PC Gaming Wiki.

For the foreseeable future, GOG has stopped their enigmatic hint for their Tuesday releases, which basically means we'll be getting LucusArts games every week for a while. New releases should be coming tomorrow.

Also, in related news, a moderator of the GOG forum has confirmed that the Jedi Knight series is coming (although probably not tomorrow).

fronzelneekburm: JudasIscariot, would you kindly drop me a little enigmatic hint as to whether we can expect Jedi Knight here any time soon? And by "enigmatic", I mean "Yes" or "No". ;P

JudasIscariot: Yes. It's coming. We've got a lot of stuff going on and I haven't had the chance to come up with a good hint as of yet
This is particularly interesting because Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II is a major pain to get running on modern systems. The Steam version is completely broken, so if GOG manage to get it working 'out of the box', it would be a major accomplishment. Personally, I'm hoping for Dark Forces, Monkey Island 2 / 3 and Outlaws. That would be awesome.

BASTARDS!! Make us wait until the last moment....buuuuuut, ALL is forgiven. Its simple math, must buy!
Also, $15? Are you kidding me? I would have paid double that!

EDIT: Wonder if the game will support controllers like the XBox 360 controller. I think the game would be awesome for playing on a large screen TV.

I bought the original Grim Fandango on physical media many moons ago but I could never get it working properly under the newer Windows. It always had graphics glitches and problems with the controls. At least it had those problems when it didn't freeze up completely. Anyway, the thing is I'm super psyched for this release since it will give me a chance to experience this game for the first time

Now somebody just need to remaster "Blade Runner" and "Kingdom O' Magic" in HD and I'll be a very happy gamer.
One day, I'll grow up and become responsible.
    Probably not today.

Really liking the new releases, keep it up GOG Hopefully they've done some work to Dark Forces. I tried playing the Steam version which was running in an old version of dosbox, it was bad; almost unplayable. Can't wait for them to release the rest of the Jedi Knight series. It'll be interesting to see what they do to Dark Forces 2. That game has a laundry list of issues on modern systems.

EDIT: Really good pricing too. Good time to pick 'em up.
Wait, now that Gamespy is gone, what's happened to the BF2 MP?

EDITz: Nevermind, I didn't look hard enough
Multiplayer notice: The game's multiplayer servers have been taken offline, however, multiplayer over LAN is still available.
Disappointing that they didn't use try and use GOG Galaxy to breath some new life into it. Hopefully after it launches they'll do something about that.

More EDITzz: Apparently we're getting more games in 45 hours, according to the countdown timer on the site. It's like Christmas!
