At present, anyone who possesses an Xperia Z3 phone, Xperia Z3 Compact phone or Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact can access Remote Play. However, even those with Xperia Z2s and Xperia Z2 Tablets will soon be able to get in on the action. Sony announced via blog post yesterday (Oct. 28) that the Z2 line would receive Remote Play as well, with more information to come in the next few weeks.

Im not so sure it was a good move on Sony's part... Im not really interested in "mobile" gaming, but i think Sony should be trying to punt the Vita more than giving players another alternative...

Also have the Z2 ( but currently in for repairs as my camera died)
It is possible to run it on your phone! Eagerly waiting to get my phone back and try it out.

I understand where you're coming from because personally I wouldn't wanna swop my big screen tv for a 5" smartphone screen when it comes to gaming action. The Xperia Z range is great but hey... maybe I gotta experience the remote game play first before I judge it.
