I was looking at getting back into Starcraft a few month ago, can some one clarify something for me please... Will the Legacy of the Void game come with the previous Wings of liberty and heart of the swarm included? Im a little confused as to how they are selling it "without needing the previous versions" so does that mean they will be included or you just pick up from after HOTS?

Im assuming it will work like HOTS, pretty much you select which version of MP you want to play in settings somewhere, so if you dont wanna play with HOTS units you select WOL etc...Originally Posted by Tom

I think they doing this stand alone for the future of the game. So that new SC2 gamers will not have to buy WOL and HOTS to be able to play the LOTV . I dont think it will include WOL or HOTS. Only reason to get WOL and Hots will to be to play the story mode. that would be it.
Ya thats really what im trying to find out... If we will be able to play the whole story mode from the beginning just by purchasing the new one...

yea in game you can select witch version to play online with. If you have WOL and have a friend with HOTS you could play on the HOTS game but only as Terran.
No i dont think they will do that. Never did in my known history of blizzard. If you would want to play the whole story mode from WOL,HOTS, and LOTV you would have to have all 3 games to be able to enter the story mode.
